Quite an enjoyable experience on this album, it gives me rave and jungle vibes with synths and glitch effects (also the bass being insane on every track). You can pretty much throw anything from this album in a party and it would be appropriate.
Theres a lot of good songs here and about 3 stinkers, another thing i wish is that there wouldnt be any 1-2 minute songs.
The artwork reminds me of Spiritual Healing by Death, among with similar album artwork during that death metal era.

Recommendation from @ezkaton2000 Thanks!
Im not that familiar with blackened death so im still discovering more material on that side, therefore my opinion will be a little bit different.
First things first, this shit heavy af all throughout the album and theres a few slower paced sections so you will never lose focus of what youre listening to. Im not that sure about the vocals yet, yes they are good but listening to it for about 40 minutes straight kinda gets stale, i just dont enjoy it as ... read more

Really enjoyable EP experience, takes its inspiration from OSDM and it shows especially with the vocals.
the guitar works/riffs are fast yet simple and every song gets you in that catchy mood.
I rarely check the lyrics (unless i have it on CD) but since this is from my home country i had to atleast see what it is about and im quite surprised that the lyrics are deep and full of despair (yeah pretty fair for this shithole).
Love the artwork, and the people behind the band are cool to talk to ... read more

With Nile being fully back with this album, its not surprising that it is another banger.
The mixing for everything is amazing, and the brutal/technical/doomy sections are well balanced throughout the album, so nothing feels overwhelming.
Again +1 for the drummer, he matched the energy for this album.

Standouts: Seven Horns of War / That Which Is Forbidden / Snake Pit Mating Frenzy / Revel in Their Suffering

Way better produced than At the Gate of Sethu, though most of the songs here are pure BDM and its missing that Nile touch/atmosphere. Like they knew what they wanted to play but lacks a certain style that every album of theirs has.
On some songs the guitars are blasting so much that the drums dont add that punch, still played amazingly though.
All in all not surprised or disappointed, just wish it had a little bit more to it.
Loved the "Ushabti Reanimator" interlude, gave me ... read more
