hmm, interesting... so this week's theme is "weird genre combinations", and that album is representing it quite well. I mean, it combines metal, breakcore and baroque pop, how weirder can that be? tho I don't feel like it's "baroque", I'm sensing more medieval vibes from it, but whatever. the album does a good job at mixing these genres into something palatable.

A YouTube comment section, of all places, led me to this twisted masterpiece.
Specifically, someone suggested muting Cyriak's equally insane animated abomination 'Something' and using 'Brutal Swing' as the background music. Not only did it work perfectly, its manic blend of black metal, breakcore and jazz was the most inexplicable and enthralling thing my twelve year old brain had ever encountered. this album is if lauren bousfield instead of sending nero to the circus. she send nero to the victorian era and with a guitar instead of modular synth.

Metal, baroque, breakcore, IDM all into one package that exceeds my expectations.
Early Igorrr (Gautier) is very known for this reason and he never misses with interesting mixes that range from soft opera performances to extreme metal, all with influences from other genres.
Standouts: Tendon / Pavor Nocturnus / Cruciform Dachshund / Unpleasant Sonata / Moldy Eye

Wow.... Decir que este proyecto es interesante me parece poco para este banquete bizarro.
Nostril comienza introduciendonos en este sonido agresivo y caotico que el Breakcore normalmente nos tiene acostumbrados, para despues iniciar con este acordeon como de danza polaca que le da este toque raro, pero mas que raro, es simpatico y hasta llega a ser divertido, y eso es lo que define toda esta experiencia.
