Yet another $5 pickup from the record store. Glad I bought this one, nice folk album
I walked into a record store today, and saw the "Godspeed" section. Somehow there was no copies of Lift Your Skinny Fists but there was this. It was $25 and I decided even though I normally have a rule to not buy albums that i haven't heard, that I would buy it. About an hour ago, I put it on my ATLP60, and was absolutely blown away.
this is where id say things start getting pretty good - No Surprises is a youtube hit (because radiohead good), and the & cover features mr frank sinatra himself. Also Lovers and Flickers are good album closers.

"i went into In Rainbows expecting something great because of the reviews. Its not a bad album but its constant praising by critics makes no sense to me, The Bends, OK COMPUTER, Kid A, Amnesiac, and potentially A Moon Shaped Pool sound better musically."

"@masivnipero I understand your point but when we're talking about albums as a medium generally the "experience" being rated here is based on how the album feels to listen to in full, one sitting. With this one it got more repetitive near the end and that was mainly due to the length"
