found a copy of this for like 10 bucks at a garage sale, picked it up, listened to it, I liked it, but its kinda hard to rate since its so long.
I have been more tolerant of The Beatles overtime, this is now a very good album.
I went into this album expecting not to like it at all, but ended up enjoying it, very repetitive but great
this album just has so many catchy anthems, like Old Time Rock n Roll, Hollywood Nights, and Still the Same
It was okay, I much prefer Licensed to Ill and Hello Nasty, though. This one has better rapping but the instrumentals are much better on the other two (i.e. Brass Monkey)
I liked this a lot more than I was expecting (rated as an 87)
Edit: July 12th, 2024
I picked up the Coke Bottle vinyl variant at a record store one day. I re-listened to this a bunch, the more I listen to this, the more I think it deserves an 100.
Starman might be one of my favorite songs of all time
I like the more blues focused songs in this one compared to Zepp 2, I still thing Zepp 1 and 4 are the best though.
This was insanely good for an album from 1956, despite bad sound quality
ok this was WAY better than I was expecting. I had only heard Bohemian Rhapsody and that song is super overplayed and overrated in my opinion, so I was honestly just expecting that.
