Queen is the J.Cole of 70s rock music. Toxic Queen stans make me wanna dip my head in frying oil.

If you clicked on this and saw the rating thinking that this was gonna be another one of those "QUEEN IS THE MOST OVERRATED BAND" reviews, then you're wrong! I hate using the term "overrated" to describe music, mostly cause it's all subjectivity at the end of the day. You can like anything you want, as long as you don't act like a dick about it! Simply saying that something is ... read more
Queen is the most overrated band of all time, by far. Not much is done here that wasn't already done much better by someone else. Freddie Mercury could hit high notes? Sweet, but this nonsensical, basic pop rock is far from a landmark in music.
Something else I want to add based off of personal experiences. I've had people telling me how great Bohemian Rhapsody is all my life, whether it be someone who grew up with this music or someone my age. "It's so fun and has multiple ... read more
When the movie Bohemian Rhapsody came out I felt like a chunk of myself had been removed. Not only was the movie bad, but Queen immediately became way less cool to me. Mainly because now, 100,000 "OwO Wasn't Freddy such a soft boy. UwU Freddy naughty daddy sksksksksk" we're made. And that was a shame because I thought Queen was a really cool band.

With other bands boomers love, like Journey or Chicago, all the music sounds like it was firmly stuck in the 70's. Like if you took it out ... read more

So... there's these people on this website that think Queen is the most overrated band of all time, eh? This is probably the only time I'll ever say this very phrase in my music reviewing 'career', but, good sirs, your opinions are wrong.

Queen have been one of the most defining and groundbreaking bands of the West, and have been in much of the population's life soundtracks. This is mostly because of their generally fun tracks, nostalgic instrumentation, and Freddie's godly vocal ... read more
I still stand by the fact that Freddie was a performer, one of the best even, but that Queen itself was an average rock band for their era. Sometimes the two styles mixed perfectly to create some of the most iconic pieces out there, but most of their music is just borderline exasperating to sit through. They always seemed like a band confused on their identity and that was always a prevalent issue throughout their career.
