Kid Cudi - Free
85

This album was really good. Like, much better than I expected.
When Neverland and Grave came out, I was worried, and my hopes for this album were lowered considerably. He definitely delivered. Literally take Neverland off the album and it'd be a no-skip album.

I have to mention Echoes Of The Present first, not because it's the first song, but because it's the first instrumental I've heard from him that gave me goosebumps and made me slightly emotional. I can't describe ... read more

Kid Cudi - KiD CuDi presents SATELLITE FLIGHT: The journey to Mother Moon
90

I absolutely love this album. It's so underrated compared to the rest of Cudi's discography, and I've cried countless times to Internal Bleeding and Toubled Boy.
Admittedly, I'm not a big fan of the instrumentals, because I prefer vocals with my music, but even so, this album is still among one of my favorites.
The best song on here is definitely Too Bad I Have To Destroy You Know. Just go listen to it and you'll see what I mean. Satellite Flight and Balmain Jeans are ... read more

J. Cole - The Off-Season
80

This album is really good. The energy Cole comes with on 95 South sets up the whole album and gets you hyped. His delivery on every single song is the best I think I've heard from Cole, specifically on songs like Amari. Bas's features on here are magnificent, especially Let Go My Hand and Hunger On Hillside.
My favorite song being Let Go My Hand, it's so beautiful, has such a nice beat, and the chorus is the best music I've ever heard from Cole.

Tyler, The Creator - DON'T TAP THE GLASS
80

This album is really good, and honestly, I enjoy it more than Chromakopia. Not that I think it's better, I just think the music sounds better.
I keep replaying Sugar On My Tongue, Ring Ring Ring, and Tell Me What It Is.
This album is so fun and has banger after banger, and get's surprisingly deep with the last few songs.
Speaking of Sugar On My Tongue, I think it's the best song on the album, and that pause right before he says "tongue" in the chorus makes it so much ... read more

Kanye West - Yeezus
95

This album is addicting, and makes me realize just how upsetting Kanye's new music is.
I can't lie, the beat switches on On Sight and New Slaves are the best part of the album. It's such a radical switch and they hit so incredibly hard.
Kanye's ability to sample, such as on Blood On The Leaves and Bound 2 really push this album to another level.
My only complaint is some of the lyrics. I don't mind freaky lyrics all that much, but there's a lottt of those on this ... read more

Eminem - Kamikaze
75

Kamikaze seems to be a lot more hated than I thought. A 46? That's surprisingly low.
I actually really like this album. Yes, Normal, Nice Guy, and Venom suck. (Why did he even put Venom on the album?)
But apart from those songs, I really enjoy the rest of the album (maybe not the chorus on Stepping Stone)
The Ringer is an amazing intro and sets the tone and purpose of the album really well. Some of the flows are a little iffy, but other than that, it's really enjoyable.

JPEGMAFIA - I LAY DOWN MY LIFE FOR YOU
95

This album is so freaking good, even down to the literal name of the album and song titles, they're so fire. Like, you can't tell me vulgar display of power isn't the most fire title you've ever heard.
This type of production is some of my favorite. I love it when beats are unusual or out of the ordinary, especially when it almost feels overwhelming with how many different sounds and instruments are used. The way he's able to transition from a fire beat to something ... read more

Kendrick Lamar - Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers
95

My favorite Kendrick album, and likely will forever be.
This album just hits different, it's hard to explain. It's like it places you in a small, comfortable zone while talking about uncomfortable and upsetting topics.
Listening to Mother I Sober with my own mother as we both cried was an experience, and something I'll never forget.
N95 and Savior are absolute bangers, ESPECIALLY Savior,

James Blake - Bad Cameo
90

While not as good as Let's Start Here, it's still one of my favorite albums. Yachty's voice is so unique and Blake's singing is so beautiful that if anyone else tried to create this, it wouldn't hit the same.
Zero skips on this album, and songs like Save The Savior, Missing Man, Midnight, and Red Carpet are just so good that words can't explain it.
This album feels severely underrated. a 72 on user score? A 69 on critic score?! And I thought Let's Start Here ... read more

Lil Yachty - Let's Start Here.

I didn't know what to think coming into this. I hadn't heard any of Yachty's previous releases besides a few songs that I really didn't care for.
This is one of my favorite albums of all time, and the BLACK seminole might just be my favorite song of all time. There is genuinely zero bad songs on this album, and almost every song gives me goosebumps.
running out of time is my most listened to song on here. It's so catchy and vibey.
Yachty went from someone I could care ... read more

Kid Cudi - Speedin' Bullet 2 Heaven
80

First time I listened to this album, I didn't like it at all. It didn't click with me and I think I added one singular song. A few weeks later, I relistened to it and cried. This is now my most listened to Cudi album, and the fact I have a lot of memories tied to it helps. The only major issue I have are the skits. They're funny and entertaining the first listen through, but having to skip half of the songs at the end because there's a 30 second long Beavis and Butthead skit ... read more

A 67?! I get there's only 4 songs, but every single one of them hit. This might sound crazy, but I've been enjoying these 4 songs more than The Forever Story, especially Behold. That has to be my favorite JID song.
I really like Yachty's verses on Knew Better, they're weirdly almost off beat but it's so fire.
Also, more people need to talk about Lisa, specifically the beat. That beat is so amazing I can't even put it in words.
About Animals, I'd like the ... read more

JID - The Forever Story

I randomly decided to listen to this song one day after hearing about several times. I don't know why I waited so long. And by the way, that chorus on Money is probably the best part of the whole album.

Quadeca - SCRAPYARD
90

God this mixtape is so good. Even without a real concept or narrative, it's something I still listen to front to back. and there's no skips.

Quadeca - Voice Memos
70

I can't lie, I really like this album. A lot of it might just be nostalgia but songs like A Dream I Can't Remember, Eyes, These Days, and The Man On My Left Shoulder still hit to this day. Even though his newer albums are leagues ahead, this one isn't that bad.
(And I seem to be one of the only people who kind of enjoys Rowboat. Something about the effects he's got on it and the rawness of it is something I really enjoy.)

Quadeca - From Me to You
85

This album is like the crossover point from his older music to his newer music. There's a few songs on here that don't get played all that often, but most of them are incredibly good, especially considering the content on the album before this. I usually don't listen to instrumentals or interludes or intro's, as I like to have lyrics and something to sing along to, but these are genuinely so good that I don't skip them. Some songs already invoke nostalgia just because I ... read more

Quadeca - I Didn't Mean to Haunt You

This album is just beautiful, and I mean everything about it is amazing. I was crying to almost every single song. The concept really moves me in a way I can't even describe and it's executed perfectly. This album has helped me a lot since I first listened to it, and it's one of those albums where I choose not to listen to it as to not ruin the experience by overplaying it. fantasyworld and fractions of infinity are some of my favorite songs of all time. Music doesn't get ... read more

Genuinely one of, if not the best album I've ever heard. Especially Casper.. some of the best storytelling ever, I genuinely can't get over that song.
