Can't go wrong with Poppy. She's an artist that feels truly disconnected from the entire rest of the music world, every so often releasing music, not as a warm new visit but as a reminder, a warning that she still exists and she's still bubbling beneath the surface.

This is my first album from her and I thought it was great! Definitely will check out some of her other stuff. It's great Alt-Metal with both brutal screeches and neat clean hooks and vocals. It's admittedly nothing you've never heard before, I'd go as far as saying it's ultimately a little formulaic, but it's short, sweet, and doesn't waste your time. And besides, it's cool hearing songs like Bruised Sky and the closer, which is borderline a Cybergrind song, it's awesome. Cool album, just not mindblowing.
