The last thing I was expecting is a surprise drop from Kendrick and I'm actually glad that this album is a thing, even though we were never aware that he was going to drop, let alone this project.
Production wise, I find this album to be very good. Notably, I'm a big fan of the sample used in squabble up, and tv off. The former kind of reminds me of something off DAMN. and Mr. Morale at the same time, and I suppose the same can be said about the rest of the album as a whole.

The Cure doesn't fail to cure my ears
Edit: I had to bump this two points up after my second listen
Yeah I don’t know, this album just isn’t interesting at all and that’s what I kind of expected considering how anticlimactic the release and the anticipation (do correct me if I’m wrong on the anticipation part I don’t really keep up with Uzi like that) was.
I’ll admit, the few first songs were fine but then I heard the ones with the slowed down voices and already knew where this was going. There really isn’t much replay value with the album but I did ... read more
WE ARE TRULY BACK
It’s good to know that Tyler still got it, production wise this is probably one of my favorite albums but that’s no surprise considering CMIYGL and IGOR were both very good.
The hidden features along with the tracks surprised me for the most part, especially ‘Sticky’ because I thought I was going to hate it but it’s actually one of the better songs in terms of production. Overall very good album
Honestly this whole album was alright. It wasn't as mindblowing or anything as opposed to World Is Yours but nonetheless it's still a chill album that's listenable. I thought I'd check it out after listening to Dramatic, which is definitely my favorite song from them.
90 > 96
I've listened to this album several times in the past and I can see why that is
It's crazy on how this album only has six songs and even then it's the best six songs I've heard in a while. This is a really good example of quality > quantity
[Look at the bottom if you don't to hear me yapping about activity and are here for my thoughts on the album] Hey, it's been a while, a LONG while as a matter of fact. I'm going to be honest, I did randomly disappear from writing reviews and whatnot on albums and I apologize for my sudden disappearance. Because I've been away from writing reviews, this also means that I haven't had the time to continue my Top 100 RYM Rankings binge, I promise I will get back to that ... read more
This has a lot of songs that are whatever and are a complete nothing burger but I will admit there are a few good songs on here and it's definitely a step up from Vultures 1
Rating edit: 65 > 60

I finally saw the vision. At first I thought this album was like, "Ok whatever, it sounds good tho" but I finally got to relisten to this in full and I finally get it. This album is lowkey beautiful and I find it to be very introspective. Definitely one of my favorite R&B albums I've listened to.
Favorite Tracks: Nikes, Self Control, Pretty Sweet, Solo (Reprise)
Aside from that one phonk song which is just an interlude, I think this is a solid and fun album to listen to. There's not much for me to say about the album other than it's pretty hype.
Favorite Tracks: G'Z UP, ULTRA SHXT, WISHLIST
Bando and The Stone. This is an interesting album to say the least. What I love about this album is the variety it has, having a ton of genres in an album. You have the crazy sounding tracks such as H3@RT$ W3RE M3@NT TO F7¥ and Got To Be, the more chiller tracks such as Dadvocate and Happy Survival and the outgoing and fun tracks such as Real Love, In The Night and Running Around. Usually I'm not fond when it comes to genre switches in albums as it hinders the quality of the album as ... read more

Okay, so not only will this be my 20th review, but this is also my 200th rating, how fun, and what better way to top it off by reviewing "Souvlaki" by Slowdive. I've listened to this album before, but I haven't really been paying attention to the music itself to give it a rating nor a review up until now.
This album truly lives up to its "dream pop" label because listening to this album feels like drifting through a ... read more
I decided to give this album a first listen since it has been popping up on many AOTY profiles. Although I'm not really invested in the metalcore genre (I don't dislike the genre) part of why I decided to listen to it was to see what all the hype was about and also to overall expand my music taste a little.
When I first played the first track, I was not expecting to get jumpscared, I guess that's how you know this was going to be a raw album. Prior to listening to this album, I ... read more
