(4/5) Waco, Texas has to be one of the most moving and beautiful songs I’ve ever heard. As a whole, this is a strong album—while a couple of tracks didn’t fully land for me, the highlights are powerful enough to more than make up for it. At its strongest, the record reaches a level of beauty and intensity that lingers long after the final track concludes.
(4/5) The production goes hard, the lyrics go hard, the rapping goes hard, this album goes hard, I go hard.
(4/5) A profoundly moving and emotionally rich album that resonates deeply—it’s the kind of music that’s sure to draw tears with its honesty and beauty.
(4/5) feeble little horse really honed in on their strengths here, this was one of my favorite albums in 2023.
(3/5) The stronger, more memorable tracks (Dog Song 2, Chores, Picture) seem to stand out in this mostly okay project.
(4/5) They are really on a tear here. Expanding on the strongest track in the full LP, this is truly a delightful musical experience.
(4/5) Asian Glow delivers what is sure to be remembered as a classic in the current shoegaze/slacker rock renaissance.
(4/5) While not as beautiful and transcendent as the previous release from Ichiko Aoba, Luminescent Creatures delivers a dreamlike atmosphere sure to send you on a journey of wonder and bliss.
(4/5) Great production, great flows, great lyrics, and great features, solid.
(5/5) I didn’t think he could top Beloved! Paradise! Jazz! But he did it. The lad did it.
(2/5) I didn’t mind the first instrumental album from André 3000, but this one just doesn’t really hit.
(4/5) Meaningful Stone is a stellar artist, what a journey this album takes.
