Black Tongue - Nadir
90

The opening beat drop was just atmospheric and brutal. It felt Galactic... The vocals enter and oh my fucking god, it leaves less room for what I'm getting myself into.

The second track knocks the door and hits me with a screech before it's production occurs and is way more faster introduced than usual. It slowly morphs into a slower production and that means more of that brutality. When comes to downtempo music like deathmetal, I have this heavy amount of satisfaction for ... read more

The Dillinger Escape Plan - One of Us Is the Killer
78

drumming, riffing and just everything feels really smooth and dense, it's very complex and mathy at some tracks too.

There's alot of mess going on in this album. Loud expressive vocals and times where when I feel a surge of boredom, something hits me hard.

What is a drawback is the melodic parts on this album, its vocals... I do not seem to like them. But I really do like it when the lead singer gets aggressive and starts screaming. Please do that shit even more.

I love the ... read more

Teitanblood - Death
78

Opening thoughts while I'm listening to this is just to say that. This drummer is genuinely on drugs, these are godlike drummings.

The whole album is packed with this very elite density and during the first song, it really was so fast paced and chaotic, I needed that injected in my veins.

Vocal work is ranged from Above mid to Phenomenal. It at some parts feel a bit inexperienced and pretentious? But then on songs like Plagues Of Forgiveness just shows that blackened deathmetal vocals ... read more

マキシマム ザ ホルモン [MAXIMUM THE HORMONE] - 予襲復讐 [Yoshu fukushū]

Melodic, dancey, energetic and brutal. Oh my god what even is this album, it really is a variety of everything. This is just so fun and nonsensical. I just wonder what the fuck can they POSSIBLY be talking about with such uplifting energy?? When I thought the last album sounded chaotic and nonsensical I should've saved my word cuz now I sound like I say the same bullshit.

Each track got it's own fair share of chaos. Very consistent and energetic, is this shit for an anime or ... read more

Leper - End Progress

Oh. my. fucking. goodness. I discovered yet another gem, the music made is just fucking crazy... Some elements of doom metal, black-metal and Crust ALONGSIDE WITH SOME SKA TOO, Now what I'm impressed is how this band blends Ska with it's sound. Crack Rock Steady al(fucking)right. This shit at some aspects really reminds me of Choking victim, except in this album the instrumentals are very very much far more chaotic and huge. But even the vocals sound like the lead singer from Choking ... read more

いよわ [iyowa] - わたしのヘリテージ [WATASHI NO HERITAGE]
87

This is a very experimental vocaloid project I'm hearing compared to the rest of the vocaloid albums I've heard in general... This really feels so full, Miku is extremely high pitched and I like it that way, she sings rapidly too at some occasions. The production from what i can childishly describe feel like a bunch of cells that replicate a tissue, there's alot going on with the production.

Okay, I summed what I meant to say, this has alot of that Glitch Pop influence in it and ... read more

The Great Redneck Hope - Behold The Fuck Thunder

Reading these album titles take a more longer time than the whole fucking album itself. The fuck do you mean "Are you there god? Please help me stop masturbating".

I like this whole album anyways, it's really alot for only 9 FUCKING minutes. But yet too less. Vocals are very satisfying and awesome rapid fast mathy production.

beansclub - NOTHING LEFT TO SAY
72

Nightcor, anyways transcended trancey trancendant vocals and nice production, but it gives off less energy than what is to be heard from another album of beansclub which i love.

despera - dizzy
95

THE FIRST SONG BLEW ME AWAY, I KNEW I WAS GONNA BE INLOVE WITH THIS ALBUM JUST STRAIGHT UP RIGHT AWAY... I admire the crazed out vocals in this album and just how fucking harsh it delivers.

This reminds me of Moreru except in this it's rather less melodic and just more fucking harsher and spares less room in it'sfirst few tracks.. Love the productuon style too, it's really fucking quick and noisy, something I absolutely admire.

Now, it completely changes to singing and wow i ... read more

moreru - 粛 粛 (Restriction)

absolutely got earfucked, this is absolutely fucking delightful but unfortunately too short, I NEED MORE. This amount of noise is just beautiful, they make their work as ugly as possible yet these are some of the most beautiful emoviolence I've ever heard. Thank fucking goodness for Moreru.

Meg & Dia - Monster

I was and im now even more in love with this single. The concept is something I've unlocked and god fuckin DAMN. It's genuinely dark

rkz - om:eyes
96

A wonderful experience when the album cover feels like the toppings and perfectly replicate the music. I love what this album was going for, it felt like a really relaxing experience.

I could gaze up the stars and listen to this anytime. It's Dreamy and at some points ethereal? After listening to harsh noise I again shift for something to ease my mind and I found this. Love the ambience and the spacey vibe it gives, Hypnagogic Pop and Chillwave are genres i struggle to find the difference ... read more

this is a hell of a very short chaotic but very mindfucking album.

I indulge towards this with raw thoughts, it's better to lock your fucking doors. These vocals are fucking monstrous and there's alot going on within the inside of harsh noise, I even peeked at some breakbeats at the last song. Eitherways i love how haunting it makes itself to be before fucking jumpdcarijg my ears, I couldn't tell you how fucking fast I took off my headphones as soon as the harsh noise came ... read more

The Arrogant Sons of Bitches - Three Cheers for Disappointment
85

This is god darn such a whimsical fun album yet the narrator always seems to be in bad situations huh.

What I really loved is the instrumentals and just such uplifting vocals, this shit is so summer shit I'll be so real, I'm usually a sucker for wicked dark albums but this was also awesome and a big mood change. Was curious so I checked this little thing out and turns out I really loved what this Ska-Punk band did. There's something that clicks within me when I heard specific ... read more

Asian Glow - Cull Ficle
71

This fish has been on my mind, it's so fucking stupid.

Anyways, this is a good emogaze album with some significantly cool tracks but also some drawbacks or filler typa songs in it, it seems like this could be done much more better but can fall short. Nonetheless it's a decent album which I'll reward a light 7. Lyrics are sad and melancholic, good album for the glow.

You'll Never Get to Heaven - Images
84

took me a while to realise I didn't review this albuk so here, this is such a fuckin soothing and really beautiful calm album I've listened for the sake of comfort, not to impress me but just for me to relax and it was a perfect album for that, with such soothing vocals from the singer and calming atmosphere.

稲葉曇 [inabakumori] - アンチサイクロン [ANTICYCLONE]
60

I really do like the style of vocaloid that Inabakumori uses, but dare slander me for this because as a first listen, this is a great sounding album. But it doesn't bring too much uniqueness or variety towards the table is what I have to honestly say, yes these songs are like decent 7-8's most of the time.

I honestly would love to view him in my shuffle, as the type of music I feel like this album represents. Since i believe as singles these tracks give in that song style of ... read more

Lightning Bolt - Hypermagic Mountain
86

yeah this shit is just a work of art, instruemntals scream at my ears cuz when I listened to this on Spotify it sounded mediocre, till I heard it on Bandcamp and changed my respective opinion and flipped a fucking 180, instrumentals better fucking scream at me, what the fuck was this album supposed to be made for? Shut the fuck up and listen instead.

Vocals are buried deep within the Noise Rock instrumentation of this album, when I think of Noise Rock. This was exactly how I imagined it to ... read more

Marmalade butcher - Uteruchesis
78

this butcher doesn't even kill, the artist cooks though. Some of the most complicated riffings I've ever heard, electrical as fuck and awesome instrumentation of guitars. Less to no vocals as I wanted something more since these instrumentals really feel complete but yet there's so much to ne added which can perhaps be vocals ofc..! It repeats for around 50 mins and gets samey but not too exhausting. Due to 50 whole minutes of pure math rock

Great Falls - Objects Without Pain
73

What an awesome combination of Sludge and P-H. What astounded me was the lead singer vocals, pure raw desperation filled within these vocals. Lyricism is blunt and speaks necessarily, the delivery is crazy as fuck. Complex drummings in some songs really make this more energetic.

Brutally delivered, this album is packed very very desperately and angrily. Title of these tracks are very very concerning especially the first one. Intense moments that blend mathcore are found in some spaces too. ... read more
