sounds like something frank ocean would make if he dove into a slightly more experimental sound, a sound Frank always danced around for me so discovering the album was a super good itch to scratch.. Frank comparisons aside, this album is incredible, seriously one of the best albums I’ve heard this year. it’s so emotional, vulnerable and unique… its seriously in its own lane in terms of ability. it lacks the attention it seriously deserves.
I was a pretty big fan of London savior and a lot of his singles but I find this album to be a pretty hard listen…the mixing is absolutely abysmal, i tried listening to this shit loudly in the car and there’s this omnipresent buzz/hum in almost every fucking song that makes me want to kms. I’m also starting to find his vocals very tired, they seemed especially harsh and piercing through this whole album. Overall the combo of buzzing and sharp vocals feels like more of an ... read more
i dont agree with the cloud rap designation. it doesnt have the ethereal haziness that lil b & main attrakionz (and even viper) were putting out around this time. no knock on the album, but I found it specifically because it was one of the oldest things tagged cloud rap on AOTY, so I was hoping to discover some early cloud rap I'd missed. Ended up being a different sound than I was expecting. aside from the dumb genre semantics ,I do have to say the album was charmingly nerdy. i ... read more
Slightly below average album with a lazy attempt at world building. Not really sure Tim burtons roll in it other than the mediocre collage of characters on the cover art. If he oversaw the creation akin to someone like Rubin he didn’t add anything that I wouldn’t expect from a previous rocky album. Overall it’s not unlistenable by any means but definitely not something I’ll be revisiting with maybe the exception of stop snitching bc I like the sauce walka feature.
Decent album, but not the same without isaac & would rather listen to jockstrap than georgia with the BCNR ensemble, not a bad album just not something i see myself revisiting.
Bootleg album by southern mixtape legend DJ CANNON BANYON, its a bunch of random mixes of Travis Porter, Waka Flocka and Roscoe Dash songs... album and cover art hilariously misspells Roscoe Dash and Travis Porter, I'm assuming to step copyright in someway??? Not really sure, nonetheless; this album is a buncha super fun mixes of legendary ATL songs. Some of them I like more than the originals, such as the Baddest Bitch, Show Out, and Sexy Girl Anthem mixes.... Also, DJ CANNON BANYON ... read more
As a fan of hell hath no fury and lord willing I find this album criminally OVERRATED incredibly disappointed—shit sounds more like a pusha t album, it lacks all the personality that came with their albums from the early 2000s. the average rating makes me wanna ahhhhhhgg
LIKE WEEZY is criminally underrated already 😡😡😡 one da most whimsical and cute Carti songs ever !!!!!
The KRS-One writing credits on She Stank killing me ðŸ˜
halfway thru and black hole might be the worst song from an established rapper I’ve heard in a long time. It’s lil uzis very own soul train by ynb yamir. Hilariously bad
My god God perkysex (prod Charlie puth) so bad ðŸ˜
I haven’t cared for the last couple uzi albums but there was at least redeemable parts in pink tap & EA. This shit just straight up bad
17 min of christ trying to sound like rxk neph with dj smokey tags.
I have been relatively tapped into the d&b scene for a while and was already familiar with mr. traumatik, however; I didnt know anything about the lad. Earlier today i saw a post about how nuts the dude is, so i decided to listen to this album and I was absolutely not prepared for how off the rails this would be.
This is so psychotic that i began to question if it was even serious at first, but after researching him a bit I’m pretty confident THIS IS NOT PARODY.

experimental drum and bass ep by 3D animator, producer, director and writer, jaron braxton. the ep has 3d animated music videos for 5/6 of the songs, utilizing 2000s playstation-style animation. the combination of his animation style and production is incredible, and needs more ears/eyes.
please listen/watch Jeron if you like dnb or great animation, it will be impressive at the very least
