This album felt like an unreachable itch one has to live with until it just goes away on its own.
I wonder why PARTYNEXTDOOR agreed to this, having his name plastered on a record before Drake’s, while basically not contributing to half of the songs. Right, Drake is his padre, how could he refuse being used like this. Also, is this not published under UMG? Can Drake even be coherent in what he does for one month?

With the first few seconds of the EP, I thought this was going to be a collection of 2010s style male pop songs, but, soon, the experimentalism kicked in. A sort of “gotcha” moment for the listener, if you will. That being said, the constant reminder of that era, despite the exploration of quite interesting combinations of sounds and vocals hooked me off. I decided to listen to this EP out of curiosity. I don't remember exactly how I found it, it might have been the Spotify algorithm.
It has such a strong start, but I cannot, for the life of me, remember anything else about it, and I've listened to it twice. The rest seemed like more or less the same amalgamation of sounds and themes, so I might have to gives this a third listen to wrap my mind around the rest.
