I don't like the trilogy that much (so daring of me to say, I know). Most of the tracks are either mediocre, boring or just cringey, so they are just riding the bottom tiers. Although, I think it was an interesting way of showing their creative process, since they were just recording songs, playing together and having fun and almost all of that material went straight into the three records. So I guess that's the reason why it's mostly super basic power pop and garage rock and why most of the tracks should have stayed at demos.
For "¡DOS!", it seems that they tried to put together all of the hard-hitting songs, like trying to make a "bangers" album full of 100% UNCUT BADASS PURE ROCK. That's why you have some cringey cuts like Nightlife and Fuck Time and then some of the band's best songs like Lazy Bones. Half of the time it's stays at the bottom half of a tier list, and the other half are really decent tracks.
I have to say, I'm biased because this was one of the first albums that I listened all the way through, so that boosts some of the scores.
