yea this is just straight up magic. indie rock has not often sounded better.
one of the densest and most explorative works of modern hip-hop. pushing sonic boundaries, challenging conventional delivery, and all of the other things people have said about the album before. a masterpiece. rip groggs.
i want to make it clear that i think this is THE song quadeca has been trying to make his whole career. he sounds so focused, passionate and clear in his goals on here. this might be the biggest discrepancy between quality of the singles and quality of the whole album maybe ever; every one of the three singles is an essentially perfect song - quadeca's focus on quality songwriting over the aim of making everything fit somehow into the boundaries of the album is what makes them good. ... read more
quadeca is lost and drowning in murky ambitions of grandeur that at almost every part of the album swallow the sincerity of his art. i guess at least in that way the concept works.
