Had two or three skips for me.
But overall, the album is really good and was the best possible start to Abel’s trilogy.
I don’t know.
A lot of people say After Hours is better than Dawn FM, and a lot of people don’t.
I say Dawn FM is better than After Hours and it’s the best album out of Abel’s last three.
Why?
Because the production was insane.
There was so much variety in the tracklist and it was totally my thing—from jazz and soul to R&B and electronic. Yeah, After Hours had a lot of variety too, but Dawn FM was better for me in terms of tracklist, transitions, and the songs ... read more
Post Malone's best project, best album, and best era of his career
I have memories with this album that don’t even exist...
Easily number 2 for me when it comes to the best Posty albums.
I can easily say this is one of the top 10 albums in the dark synth / synthwave genre.
There wasn’t a single bad track.
Either it was good, really good, or just incredible.
Like, there were moments where you’d think a track was just okay—nothing special—but then it’d surprise you and totally win you over.
I really, really loved it.
I don’t even know what to say, man.
I got bored halfway through the album.
It’s honestly wild that a girl group with this much of a fanbase, this many sponsors, all these high-profile collabs, solid production, and a whole track record would drop a project that’s just... mid. But if I’m keeping it real, ever since BLACKPINK started moving solo, you could kinda see where this was headed.
Honestly the only track I fw was "Champion." Melody-wise, the pre-chorus was solid too, if we’re not counting the actual chorus. But overall that ... read more
Bad Omens is a band that keeps progressing step by step in the metalcore genre...
This album was their best project so far.
The vocals were really strong and pleasant... the parts where Noah screamed were genuinely powerful and good... the lyrics were solid... and then we get to the production and the instrumentation—both were well worked on.
Their previous albums had some issues with production on a few tracks, but on this one, they had no production problems at all. The music is ... read more
After all the delays, I finally listened to the album.
Exactly what I expected from Deftones
The album had a lot of ups and downs. Some tracks were really good, some were pretty bad and definitely skip-worthy.
Melody's fire
Chorus is a banger
Beat's sick
Production's on point
PinkPantheress sounds amazing
Then Zara Larsson jumps in and completely kills the vibe/throws off the whole rhythm. It gets a little better after a bit, but the start? Yeah, that was not it.
The truth is, when I heard the early singles from this album, I knew this project wasn't like the previous ones. I'm a huge Joji fan, but unfortunately, this album just wasn't on the level of SMITHEREENS, Ballads, or Nectar for me 💔
