Post is refreshing to hear, an emerging talent who can craft melodic hooks and infectious songs that stick.

The album showcases Post's natural vibrato and a roster of revered producers. Unfortunately, the many high points of Stoney are juxtaposed with undeniable lows.

For all of Stoney’s faults, its most damning one poisons the record at the source: This thing is completely soulless.

It's competent and listenable, but many others have tread this same path already. Post Malone has a way to go before standing out with his own unique voice, but there are signs on Stoney that it could happen.

Coming back to Posts material, since he was prob one of the first artists that I checked out in relatively full. And even back then, I always thought “Stoney” was one of his worst the moment I heard it back in like 2018 or something. This album just doesn’t have much going for itself, I tries to be this cool sounding druggy, Travis Scott type sound and style, but then it makes stuff like “Broken Whiskey Glass” which are easily some of the worst pop rap songs I had ... read more

This thing is total trash... good god. He has obvious talent but it is thrown away on this album. He sings like a dying pack rat. Production is cluttered and sounds blocky

It's time for another album that the internets pettiest music nerd has given a NOT GOOD and an album that I've honestly been anticipating to talk about, that album being Post Malones 2016 debut album Stoney. Now I have a bit of a soft spot for Post Malone, like many I discovered him through his breakout hit White Iverson and since then I've been following his music career, ... read more

When I first listened to Holywood's Bleeding I gaines the impression that Post Malone was a consistently really good artist. After listening to his most recent album and this album I see that is not the case. This is better than the majority of today's pop but it lacks the emotion that this album needs. The emotion here feels fake if not absent altogether
