The album showcases Post's natural vibrato and a roster of revered producers. Unfortunately, the many high points of Stoney are juxtaposed with undeniable lows.

This thing is total trash... good god. He has obvious talent but it is thrown away on this album. He sings like a dying pack rat. Production is cluttered and sounds blocky

Edit: I mean, it's not irredeemable. I was kind of going with the crowd there, as much as I hate to admit that. I think the either mediocre/boring tracks still outweigh the really good ones, but I still enjoy some of the stuff on here.

This was the first album I really started listening to all the songs on, and I'm surprised it's still quite catchy to this day, but it really pales in comparison some of this stuff coming after this. A lot of the tracks on it are incredibly boring and ... read more
