Black Country, New Road - Ants From Up There

Oh my fucking god.

This album changed my life and this is the first time i’ve ever heard it (aside from basketball shoes)

I cannot believe how amazing this was.

Lil Peep - Come Over When You're Sober, Pt. 1

I thoroughly enjoyed this, but the intro track brought it down a bit for me. Very good other than that for me though

Devon Hendryx - JOECHILLWORLD
95

I already knew over half of these songs before fully listening, but the full listen with the new songs added so much to this experience. Only thing bringing it down 5 points is sometimes the outros go on a bit long. Great album, though.

Geese - Getting Killed
95

I loved this. Great rock album, and i really don’t know what else to say. Recommend for sure and will prob check out more of their stuff soon

Lift to Experience - The Texas-Jerusalem Crossroads

Fuck dude. This was perfect and just beautiful all around.

VEIN BLUE - Dandelion EP
95

Found this through a reddit thread about underground shoegaze and was not disappointed. Not what i expected, though. A lot more dreamy and less distortion than i expected, but i definitely recommend to any fans of slowdive or even like some coctaeu twins stuff idrk but i LOVED this. Sad that i only found them now cuz apparently this was their retirement EP. Oh well

Tyler, The Creator - Cherry Bomb

I cant complain about a single thing on this album. Its genuinely so good and overhated. My fav by tyler fs

Aphex Twin - Selected Ambient Works 85–92

I’m not the type of person to give 10s off of first listens but this is a whole other case. Wow. genuinely perfect. It feels futuristic yet nostalgic if that makes sense.

EsDeeKid - Rebel
90

Wasn't expecting to love this as much as I did. Very good!!

Death Grips - Exmilitary
100

Every track is perfect, loud, experimental, disgusting, and the whole album is just an earworm for me

Tyler, The Creator - Bastard
90

One of my hotter takes. I love this album.

Danny Brown - XXX
100

don't remember when I first listened but I'm only now reviewing. This is perfect. not much else to say.

Kanye West - Yeezus
100

very amazing

Quadeca - Vanisher, Horizon Scraper
96

Wow. what more can i say. this was a breathtaking experience and listening to it on a train during the rain is probably whay enhanced it so much. as always, i loved danny brown's feature. this is an insane growth from quadruple and i can't wait to see more from him. tied for aoty and opinions always have time to grow, so don't be surprised if this tops my list. 96/100, or 9.6/10. thank you quonka.

Tyler, The Creator - DON'T TAP THE GLASS
96

Recency bias could change this, but it came out an hour ago and I really enjoy this. amazing danceable album with amazing songs. 9/10. potential aoty.

Clipse - Let God Sort Em Out
94

I really do love this album. The reason it isn't a perfect 100 for me is that, althought fun and enjoyable, most of Pharrell's features are just him singing with multiple tracks which kind of gets old, but it never sounds bad so I cant complain too much. love the Tyler and kendrick appearances as well.

Lil Wayne - Tha Carter VI
72

super overhated but still not great. fav song was island holiday NO I'm not kidding its fun like mixed personalities by YNW melly fight with a wall :)

American Football - American Football
100

Changed my outlook on life and the world and I'm not even exaggerating. I can't pick a favorite song, the album feels like a perfect 40 minute song. Fellow Illinois natives as well!

Cibo Matto - Stereo ★ Type A
100

So amazing. Some might say that the songs all sound the same, and while yea, they blend together and have similar soundscapes (excluding Blue Train), it's just following a genre. Not every album needs to be some experimental never-before-heard masterpiece with 500 genres all blended together. My favorite song is Blue Train

Kendrick Lamar - To Pimp a Butterfly
100

Mortal Man outro isn't always something I wanna listen to but its still a 100. my favorite song is How Much A Dollar Cost
