I'm gonna be so honest, I was completely lost on what was going on throughout 99% of this album. Maybe I'm just not used to abrasive, experimental rap anymore but all these beats sound like they came out the mind of someone on an unhealthy dose of dissociatives and having a panic attack. The vocal delivery and flow is really nice, though.

Worst Songs: idk i can't really compare the rest they all feel just as schizophrenic
Currently my favorite QOTSA album out of the ones I've heard, I enjoy the more aggressive and out there instrumentation and lyrics. Songs like "Battery Acid" put me off giving this a higher rating though, as the weird vocal filters placed on the adlibs feels very out of place and takes me out of the stressful feel this album normally gives. It might be a hot take, but I dislike songs like "Make It Wit Chu", as it takes away from the constant power the album started out ... read more
