Idk I was actually kind of hyped for this, I never was a huge Tame Impala fan but I certainly like the last two albums.
Well sadly I don't like "The Slow Rush" - for the first time ever I am genuinely annoyed by Kevin Parker's vocals and while the instrumentals certainly sound likeable, they aren't memorable at all.

And sure, I like some songs (Borderline, Lost In Yesterday, Is It True) - but there is nothing nearly as great as "Let It Happen" or "Elephant" to be ... read more

Not quite as fantastic as "2012 - 2017" yet still really engaging - partly due to it being more experimental.
At this point Nicolas Jaar has to be one of our favorite electronic artists, right?

This is probably the biggest "fuck you I'm doing what I want" ever.

The whole Ke$ha party girl aesthetic is back but the Kesha country pop aesthetic is also still here.

I really like the debut, I think "Trouble In Paradise" is among the best - and most overlooked - electropop albums of the 10s and I also wonder if this new album could have possibly been any more boring.

I might not get this one, but to me it just sounds like 17 minutes of unfinished demos?
hope it grows on me idk

EDIT
I don't know what it is with Denzel but Taboo is literally his only album that I enjoyed since first listen.
Like I literally love all of his albums but I always seem to need time to appreciate them.

Anyway, you should really check out the video if you haven't, it's super cool.

About
I'm a huge Pop hoe so I already apologize for giving Charli XCX's next album an 11.

Also I'm not going to score anything that came out before 2020, that would just be an endless task. I do consider everything in my library at least an 8/10 though, so enjoy.
