Overlooked and underappreciated I think! Overall a very odd, atmospheric and experimental album for Bowie but there are still so many simply-great tracks here too: Hello Spaceboy, I'm Deranged, Strangers When We Meet...

DBD doesn't necessarily reach the highs of Rockys best material [Bass, 1Train, Holy Ghost, ...] but - as an album - it's consistently great fun.

Empty Hands isn't a Zig-level-tragic-misstep but it's still an uncharacteristically boring album for Poppy.

Girl Feels Good, Perfect Stranger, Childlike Things and Wanderlust arguably make for the most ""pop"" songs on the original version, and while I DO love them all (especially Perfect Stranger, my beloved 🥀), cutting and replacing them with some more "vibe-fitting" songs greatly improves the albums cohesion and general sense of identity.

Very strong first half from Nokia but I think second half is just decent - overall well worth a listen, just not her best imo.

I quite like the three track run starting with Los Angeles, but otherwise Double Infinity sadly marks quite the step down from their monumental last album - or Adrianne Lenkers past few solo albums.

Asking the important questions, like: "What if BCNR was on the Life Is Strange (2015) Soundtrack?".

Love me some Aes! But ngl, second half needed some trimming imo. Still v fun but BHS is more like a mid-tier Aesop Rock album.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this one! It's a Mirror, No Front Teeth, Full On & In a Row are PG classix already and the other tracks are also pretty great - though I'm not crazy about the closer.

Someone on the Fantano-reddit said Men in Bars ruins this album and prevents them from getting the vinyl?? WDYM that shit's straight fire, easily the best track here. 😭

You know I kind of wish the last three tracks weren't on here, regardless, Mayhem is Gaga on banger duty.
