This is the most complete album that I have ever listened.

It got songs to cry, to dance, to be happy, to learn, to everything; and I wouldn't think it worked so great and still so cohesively as an album, but Sufjan did surpass my expectations.

With INCREDIBLE instrumentals, INCREDIBLE soundscapes and some of the best lyrical/instrumental synergies I've ever listened, this album feels like being on a tour bus onto Sufjan's life and he, being the charming host to get me onto all of these ... read more

I can appreciate how masterful of an album this was for its time, but it really didn't age well for me. It feels so simple, rough and awkward sounding at sorts that I've never came back to this album.

This got to me a kind of a "The Beatles" factor, that I just know that is so important for music in general, but I can't enjoy it as a music art form. So you would expect what do I think about The Beatles if you got to ask me about it.

100 for being such an important album for ... read more

This is one of the finest "IDM" albums that my ears had the pleasure to listen. Is such a hard nostalgia hit that works so nicely, and give me some of the most comforting feelings while listening an album.

But is not perfect, though. Still pretty amazing.

Highlights: An Eagle In Your Mind, Sixtyten, Roygbiv, Pete Standing Alone, Open The Light.

Who is "The Microphones" and why am I crying so damn loud in the corner after this listen?

Out of jokes, this album... Was an experience of mind-blowing creativity and incredible soundscapes, stories and huge emotional peaks that, to be honest, compliments all of this album so perfectly.

Starting from the gorgeous acoustic ballads (You'll be In The Air, I Felt Your Size, I Want Wind To Blow) that portrays Phil in many situations, comparisons, emotions and pure organic bliss of ... read more

No, the ambient part isn't that long, and compliments the whole progression of the album really nicely.

Let's have an AOTY black artist showcase.
Please reply to this message with an underrated/less known album by a black artist/ band with black members and I'll highlight it in a list. BLACK LIVES MATTER!

I think it would be important to highlight albums from the past 5-10 years you feel have been truly innovative, either in their general construction (production, instruments usage), vocals, sociopolitical discussion or anything else you can think of.
Would you be kindly be able to reply with 1-3 albums that you think have been truly innovative in particularly recent times?

I really like your reviews, keep up the good work!
About
Look.
I like music.
A lot of music.
I want to give my opinion about music.
Is that too complicated?
I think not.

Also, I listen all of my albums on a FLAC/MQA format (depending on compatibility) with a dedicated audio system and such, so production is something I'll pay special attention to.
