PC Music is running the Pop game right now, dropping excellent Pop music with an experimental edge on instrumentation, inspired by the metallic sonic palettes of Electronic music genres like IDM, Electroclash and Electro House. But please, give to Ms. Britney Spears her flowers too. This album was a blueprint in terms of performance, production and aesthetics.

"Blackout" by Britney Spears is a special album in the Pop genre. Released on 2007 (Juan was 5 years old around that time and ... read more

Lovely mixture of Ambient Techno and Future Garage.

Bicep is an electronic duo hailing from Belfast, Northern Ireland, and this is their second studio album, titled "Isles". I'm aware of Bicep's work, due to their amazing album artwork, which might be generic in the Electronic Music Album Artwork canon, but it's still beautiful and pleasant to see nonetheless, and a few singles here and there. I'm yet to listen to their debut, self-titled album, but contrasting the duration and ... read more

As you can see, I've been on a Ambient Pop/Dream Pop/Ambient vibe, and that's because I really like how electronic musicians can create ambiance and climate in different ways. Thanks to Youtube's algorithm, I came across this album by this mysterious duo Deux Filles. The mysteriousness about this record and the group itself relies on the history behind the concept of this duo. You can do a quick research about this group's history to see what I'm talking about. But this album was a pleasant ... read more

Wow, what a grower this album is

I've been keen to get into Mitski's music. I've heard everything about her, her critical acclaim and how she was one of the prominent faces in the Indie Rock genre of this past decade. Personally, I'm not a person that's into Indie music in general. Indie Pop (except The Smiths), Indie Rock, Indie Folk, none of those genres are strong points for me, and I've been running away from them for the longest time but I'll try my best to start getting into this kind of ... read more

Contextually speaking, this is one of the greatest albums of all time. Doing all of this craziness with the sounds and technology available in the early stages of contemporary and popular music is an important feat by itself. The influence of this album in the posterior generations of music is something immeasurable, as you might know. The bluesy and nocturnal feeling of this album is delightful and smokey, there is this feeling in the album about you watching The Doors in a bar in California ... read more

"Pygmalion" by Slowdive is, in my opinion, the most overlooked Slowdive work to date. Let me explain why

As I'm diving into Slowdive discography, I personally felt sad at the fact of how critics perceived their work at the time. They didn't give them a chance, yet Slowdive came up with the upper hand, thanks to their unique mixture of Dream Pop and Shoegaze. I know that both of these genres are siblings, and some people who don't understand their sensibilities at the fullest might ... read more

Hello there! What is an album that you've given a 100 score, and why so?

Simple explanations are fine enough, but detailed reasoning is of course welcome. If you have multiple 100s, then just pick one of them as your answer. It's for a list by the way. Thanks in advance, and have a great day!

The entire poem consists of just three lines, with 17 syllables in total.

1.The first line is 5 syllables.
2.The second line is 7 syllables.

Hola!
