Albums I need to listen to to finish the AOTY top 100 - #27

I haven’t had this much fun with an album since I heard currents for the first time. This albums just an absolute non stop dance party. Daft Punk is a duo that I never really sat down and listened to but always knew about. They’re probably the most legendary electronic band ever. Almost every song on this album is an absolute banger and for the few that aren’t they’re deeply gorgeous breaks from the action. The album opens with one of the greatest openers for an electronic album ever. One More Time is definitely my favorite song on here. It’s just such a timeless, catchy track that really does fire on all cylinders. The beat being one of the catchiest things I’ve ever heard, the vocals being Daft Punk at their best, the lyrics encouraging you to dance. Everything about this song is just dance music at its best. That’s not the only standout on here though. Tracks like Digital Love, Harder Better Faster Stronger, Face To Face, and Too Long all excel in every area that I mentioned with One More Time. Even the instrumental tracks on here really just make you want to dance. Easily some of the catchiest shit I’ve ever heard so glad I’m finally getting around to this iconic duo.
