I love how I’ll forget how many insane singles have came out this year and then I’ll just get slapped in the face with another one
The resemblance between the bottom middle guy and my grandpa is uncanny
If heaven is a place on earth then that implies that hell is also a place on earth which makes this album just one big reference to New Jersey
I don’t give a shit about the despicable me movies but I hope they never stop making them so Pharrell never stops cooking
I don’t really feel like listeneing to the album so I’m not gonna rate it but For the Damaged Coda is peak shows soundtracks.
This is an album I’ve been meaning to get around to for a very long time. I’m currently driving home from Great Adventure which is 4 hours from where I live so I had a lot of time to kill and decided to put this on. What I got was definitely a classic but a very flawed one. I feel like so much went right with this album but just as much went wrong. I think there’s only really one way to format this review and I’m super happy I finally have the perfect album to use it on ... read more
This is a top three live album of all time. It is beautiful, has some great guitar riffs, and is such a calming listen. It last two hours but it makes it feel so short. I do think the album has one flaw and that is that there is a stretch on disk one with probably the three worst songs. This isn’t even too much of a flaw though as they are still great songs. Disk two is in my opinion the much better side, even though disk one has some of the best songs in the album. Disk two has the two ... read more
This albums honestly just super laid back and relaxing. It’s not the greatest thing ever made but it’s a super easy listen and I get a lot of enjoyment out of it.
There is nothing in the world that I’ve ever wanted more than to have disintegration on vinyl
An absolute cinematic masterpiece. My ears and eyes have both ascended. This is already such a cinematic album and this just makes it feel otherworldly. -1 point for the kkk stuff on all of the lights tho that was weird
It’s kinda funny how good old ye sounds after hearing vultures 2
This is like an alternate universe never see me again except it’s in the same universe so it’s not
I know that I said I would try to be more critical but this album is just too good not to be a 100. I genuinely don’t think anything could be done to make this album more perfect. Disintegration balances a very dark tone with very beautiful production and it pulls it off phenomenally. Every song is memorable and has a great instrumental. What really sells the sound of this album is the vocal delivery. It is so raw and powerful and unlike a lot of music that I’ve heard. ... read more
WARNING Some Got spoilers:
The whole sequence at the start of winds of winter is a strong contender for my favorite moment in the show (I’d say maybe second or third behind the red wedding and maybe Yggrites death). The music is a huge reason why. The way it builds on itself constantly raising the suspense until everything is just chaos is unbelievable. Then the real treat of this scene which I’m not gonna spoil here happens and it is just mind blowing. This music just makes this ... read more
Disclaimer: Ik this score seems low for me and that’s just bc I’m trying to be more critical. I’m gonna try and think of scores out of 10 instead of 100 now
This album had some great production and flows and some great songs. It was a bit inconsistent and there are a few duds in the track list but the songs that stood out really stood out. My favorite song was All That I got is You. The majority of this album is kind of aggressive and the fact that he put such a beautiful ... read more
