Kacey Musgraves - Golden Hour

Really fun album full of ballads I could listen to again and again.

I fucking love this girl. So underrated. Her voice, her lyrics, the message and the vibe resonate soulful and authentic. Can’t wait to watch her continue to grow as an artist.

Ray LaMontagne - Supernova

I still love this album. I liked that he went in a little bit of a different direction while staying true to his sound and overall acoustic nature. It’s trippy but soulful. His voice gets better and better.

Ray LaMontagne - MONOVISION

This is classic Ray. Beautiful melodies, introspective, sad lyrics. He fully produced this as well which is pretty cool. Dude is so talented.

Jaden - CTV3: Cool Tape Vol. 3

Not terrible. Some hidden gems. I like the trippy vibe and actually some of the lyrics are super perceptive and relatable for Jaden smith.

Justin Bieber - Peaches

If not for Daniel Caesar (highlight of the record) and Giveon, this is simply Yummy 2.0. Couldn’t be happier Nas dethroned it after a week. He repeats the grating chorus eight times.

Justin Bieber - Justice

Some of them are kinda growing on me but overall it’s pretty weak. Lyrically repetitive. I would say about 5-7 of the songs are just filler. The features are also pretty useless and add nothing of substance. Except Peaches because without Daniel Caesar it’s just another Yummy for me. He does that grating chorus eight times.

"I think the main difference between Justin and the other artists you mentioned (MJ mainly) is he is surrounded by YES MEN. No one will tell him the truth. Everyone is on the payroll. He doesn't have any true friends or true mentors that will say "yeah that's a bad idea." He never has had that. And lets face it, part of growing up and getting better, just as a person, is your true friends humbling you when you're being too full of yourself while still gassin you up when you deserve it. He's never really been held accountable. And sadly, I just don't think he's very smart. While I agree with you that he had loads of potential at one point, I think a lot of what was showed to us through his team was a lot of smoke and mirrors. If you really go and watch him play instruments, it's just okay. If you go and listen to his raw vocals, they're great at times, but go listen to his NYE performance where you could really hear him with no screams. It's eye opening."
