Overall this was a pretty solid album from Marco, but not his best work in my opinion. I enjoyed the production, including lots of enticing and intricate soul samples & melodies. Although, I’m not always the biggest fan of some of his flows and lyrical choices. I found the last 3 tracks to highlight ... read more
Angelic Hoodrat: Supercut will undoubtedly go down as one of the best rap albums of all time. Kenny Mason deserves an insane amount of appreciation for his experimentation within this project, especially coming right after a very unique and creative album in its own regard: Angelic Hoodrat. I see Kenny as a pivotal part and note-worthy presence in the greater genre of rock/rap that is now bolstered by many others trying their own hand at it -- I believe -- largely thanks to the influence of ... read more
Such an amazing debut EP from boygenius. I instantly fell in love with Me & My Dog the first time I listened to it and it still never fails to amaze me; although, honestly I have a lot of appreciation for every song in this EP, no tracks receiving less than an 8/10. I think this is a perfect framework for how all three work so well in tandem with each other while also creating such unique, beautiful, and infectious harmonies.

When comparing Die Lit to his self titled and Whole Lotta Red, I feel as though Whole Lotta Red may take lots of the spotlight for having many abrasive ... read more
Nikes: 80 - quite good, second half clears for me, the vocal experimentation is intriguing in the first half but i much prefer Frank’s normal singing voice.
Ivy: 95 - perfectly encapsulates what it feels like to fall in love and all the frustrations and confusion around the complexity of it. The somber but beautiful guitar chords mix very formulaically.
Pink&White: 90 - Pharrell didn’t have to create such a beautiful melody on this track but boy im so glad he did. Frank has ... read more
