These guys are incredible musicians. Clearly lots of neoclassical metal influence here making their guitar playing a treat to listen to. The vocals, specifically the harsh ones, are not my favorite. No. Just no. I've really got nothing positive to say other than I'm glad that it was short. She isn't necessarily a bad singer or anything but she lacks originality from any other pop record I've heard all year. Sand is the only track that came close to being okay but I'm still not convinced there. She has potential to writing good ballad-type songs but nothing here really did it for me. It's fine but definitely some of his weaker works in a while. It was a little too formulaic in general but he's still sounding pretty decent. Some of this stuff feels a little incomplete and maybe he could've expanded on this a little more. But honestly for a short, three song EP, I'm not necessarily disappointed. Just felt a little unpolished.
First ever fully instrumental hip hop album I've listened to. And what a legendary fucking album to experience this genre for the first time. It is a little weird rating this project as most all of these songs are only 1-2 minutes long. But my god can he make some absolutely killer beats. There's really something to be said with how impressive these tracks are without any rapping or actual vocals. MCR is always at least decently enjoyable to listen to but never particularly sparked my interest much. Never been a huge fan of the vocals but they aren't awful. But it's a decent emo-punk whatever record. But I find it hard to believe this is something I'd return to.
