It’s fascinating, in some kind of way, how Wage War manages this consistently boring sound. I’m not sure if it’s the production or just the instruments not really playing in ways that complement each other, but either way, nothing ends up sounding very interesting.

Though perhaps a bit denser and lengthier than it needed to be, Liminal Rite still places itself as a seriously impressive and downright beautiful work. The vocals are simply stunning. And the soundscapes are really captivating.
Well this album just kept getting better. Choruses across the board really hit a nice spot to satisfy that prog metal itch. Slow Violence is unfortunately not a super interesting song but the rest of this album is pretty nice. Resonate is interesting but I don't think it necessarily fits into the rest of the album. The rest of this is very nice though. The vocals are very pleasant and the cadence on Autumn's chorus is super catchy.
To start with, I'll mention the production, because it's mediocre. It's not terrible or anything, not spectacular either, so I'll tentatively call it good enough. The kind of production that is middling enough to be noticeable when you start listening, but you kind of forget about as the album progresses.
