BMTH are my favourite band, and they did not disappoint. I was a little worried about how the end product would turn out because of the singles, which I enjoyed but thought were super disjointed. AmEN! is an absolute rager with hints of deathcore, while the first single, DiE4u, sounds like they mixed their own sound with Justin Bieber. However, the organization of the tracklist changed my perception of these songs and created an experience I don't think any BMTH fan saw coming.

Feel bad giving this album such a low rating, but I won't ever get down with K-pop. The City Pop songs however are SOOOOO GOOD HOLY SHIT.
Not all of these songs are amazing, but Lefty and Head in the Ceiling Fan will forever be among my favourite songs of all time.
Starts off amazingly, ends amazingly. Genesis, Headless, and Ohms especially are easily some of the best Deftones songs. The middle tracks 3 - 8 range from okay to very good, they're definitely doing some interesting stuff on tracks like The Spell of Mathematics and Pompeji especially. Some of these tracks have some flaws that I just have a hard time getting past however. The chorus of This Link Is Dead very much reminds of Goon Squad, as it just does not match the vibe of the song. The ... read more
This was honestly a pretty disappointing listen. The first 5 tracks were awesome. Great riffs, great vocals, great hooks. The rest of the album is so mediocre. 70% of the riffs turn into 0-0-0-0-0-0, the violin is kind of a gimmick that doesn’t add much to the album, and I’m honestly struggling to remember how most of those second-half songs go.
At least we got Death by a Thousand Cuts and Come Hell or High Water, honestly incredible songs.
