the most notable difference to me between cool world and god’s country is its lack of humor, as in their previous releases there is a clear sense of irony, which makes cool world a more downbeat experience. my biggest complaint maybe that the final track doesn’t really hit as hard as grimace from god’s country, though there are plenty of strong highlights that make up for it
