“Ants From Up There, by Black Country New Road” is an emotional masterpiece.
Ants From Up There , gives off a sort of classical and weirdly medieval vibe with both its instrumentation and lyrics.
I personally love the usage of instruments, wether it’s horns, pianos, or woodwinds; they all beautifully mesh together.

Mac de Marco’s stepping stone into his official old man status. Quite a nice and peaceful project though not nearly as good as most of Mac’s other projects. Some great songs sprinkled throughout, and some songs slightly underwhelming. Great melodies through the entire project. Overall a solid listen, but not too much going on. I respect Mac’s simplicity, and although it wasn’t what I wanted to hear from a Mac de Marco album it was pretty decent.
