Moonface is one of my favourite songwriters right now. Jagjaguwar can do no wrong.
Only wish this little gem of an EP was longer. The vocals give me chills.
Didn't think they could top their debut effort but RTJ2 throws down the gauntlet. Beats and rhymes are just unbelievable.
Really special, strange, powerful pop music. I can see myself revisiting this again from time to time.
LGBT is an incredible track. The whole album is pretty damn good in fact.
Another Sacred Bones gem. Nerd alert: I'm really digging the album design on a number of their releases last year.
Fantastic comeback album from one of my all-time favourite folk singers.
I wanted to love J. Cole but I always came away a little disappointed. Forest Hills Drive changes everything. Concise and consistent on this LP, I can now consider him one of the best story-telling MCs in the game.
This guy isn't faking it. Blends a whole bunch of genres and creates something gorgeous. Those horns on "Talk Is Cheap" though!
Significantly better than his last project. I get that the auto-tune is a turn off for a lot of people but for me it compliments Party's slowed down, hazy production. Perfect summer driving music.
