ROCKYST was an experience listening to, progress and development through the track list was demonstrated at the least. However, to my belief, most tracks sounded too alike. The same upbeat almost repeated tracks may prove to be useful in defining Rocky as a solo artist after his departure from boy group ASTRO, however it failed to provide an album which I could listen to multiple times. This album demonstrates ROCKY's development and growth, in which he has much room to improve.
FIRE. Firstly, the blend of soft and harsh songs, and the juxtaposition, perfectly represent the album as an emotional rollercoaster. The influences, such as Taylor Swift, Avril Lavigne and Phoebe Bridgers allow for a perfect album. The mix of songs can somewhat be compared to her previous album, Sour, but with a dash more Post-Punk Revival, or Pop Rock. Just fire. Rodrigo really has outdone herself here.
