I already reviewed ST... but I messed up the review, so yeah. Iowa is Slipknot's follow-up to their Self-Titled album, now where most bands might double-down on a sound or perhaps go more commercial for their second album Slipknot chose neither! Instead of picking to go with a harder, more aggressive, and hard-hitting sound more akin to death metal than it is Nu Metal Slipknot's IOWA punches it listeners in the GUT with opener People = Shit and doesn't let up.
