They have the tunes and a sound that really works for me. I did dig Volcano, but for me it was 3rd album Hot Motion which matched the high bar set by the debut Sun Structures. Despite this I was unconvinced my anticipation for this 4th album wasn't misplaced. Thankfully they have delivered a banger. ahem...Slightly annoying first track, but then it incorporates and embellishes their best work, without the unnecessary guest vocalists, resulting in... an engaging triumph.
Another solid effort from what is probably now my favourite incarnation of the band. Not an all time classic but a worthy addition to their canon and compelling throughout.
