Understandable why it didn't make the original cut but this is cuteee
It's a good album but it could've had a more rock sound. There are many acoustic tracks and ballads which are great but aren't masterpieces.
The best ballad is "too young" and overall "defenceless" and "kill my mind", especially because they are the most upbeat songs.
Anyway overall i like this album!! If you think you'd like 2010's Zara Larsson/Dua Lipa mixed with Taylor Swift and some rock influences, this album is for you ✨
Until let it die this album is pop perfection. Then it slows down a bit with tracks 9 and 11, but overall it's a great album.
PS: Temptation deserved to be in the standard tracklist, it'd be one of the best songs here
Lately Kevin has been receiving criticism from many people, especially for the song "End Of Summer", which I consider a banger. I think everyone except a currents 2.0 and one thing is clear: Kevin rn isn't in the same situation when he made currents. Disappointed. Diamonds and dancefloors was the best album of 2023 for me and many of this songs sound like scrapped songs of it. There are some highlights tho and the songs are so good. But there's something missing for me that makes me feel I cannot give this a 90 or more. Still a solid and good pop album.
