Thank you, Charli, for creating an album that makes anyone feel like a party girl, even if they’re an introvert, cozied up at home, with a husband, kids, cats, household chores to do, studying to keep up with, and dealing with anxiety, and so on. Definitely the album of the year for me. It’s lifted me up so many times from boredom, exhaustion, and procrastination. At the end of a hard day and the start of another one, the songs from this album have been my mantra to survive it all.
Lil Yachty has always been endearing to me, but I never really delved deep into his persona and body of work.
