Finally got to sit down and listen to this, and boy did it not disappoint. Great prog death metal sounds with interesting musical moments. Cleans aren't my favorite, but they fit pretty well with the songs. Dessiderium keeps evolving to produce more unique sounds, and I'm excited to see what they do in the future.
The album comes together really nicely. Nothing super crazy, but the groove and voiceovers they get into drives the story well.
Some absolutely hyper-stellar, banger tracks on here, not super cohesive as an album
Love Camellia, the album gets better towards the end. Not a super big fan of the crazy new musical ideas and styles, I guess that makes me a boomer hater.
W atmospheric album. Put this on in the back of any task you're doing and you'll be immersed.
Best song: Always Somewhere
Good sound, Moon Lust Delirium is a banger. Hope they can diversify the musical ideas a bit.
Probably the best album they've put out, really enjoyed the atmosphere on this one.
