Frank's lyricism and storytelling in this album had always make the ppl who listening to this album gets the shock value. Frank deep dives talking about his homosexuality, addiction to marijuana, loneliness and sadness of his life. Frank also did'nt use the format "verse-chorus-verse-bridge" in every songs like the most artist (especially R&B artist) do. Instead, he "break the rules" like his own rules so he can telling his rough life on the album.

I know d4vd is a criminal but his music that he makes had always never unforgettable for me. I just listened to this album 1 year ago and this is one of the best a talented indie artist i've ever listened. But how d4vd came from a normal artist become a ruthless killer who killed a 16 years old (if i recall carefully) kid and just put the corpse in his car?.
