Siamese Dream is a very strong and pure distillation of alternative rock. It really is just the band members captured in a room playing these crazy multi-phased songs and using their instruments as creatively as possible. I think I made a very good choice for my first ever experience with jazz fusion. Who woulda thought that emo prog rock jazz fusion would work so well. Absolutely insane album.
