Being honest I came with low expectations just based on the user score but it turned out not being completely bad? I don't think any of their albums so far are inherently bad, they are very listenable but there is that bridge between eh, and ok and good stuff. This one doesn't fall in just being ok outside of some exceptions like No Reply, Rock and Roll Music, and I'll Follow The Sun. What I will say tho is that there is no reason to ever keep this album on hold. I am surprised that in 4 years of listening to Kendrick and almost every other album except this one... I waited so long.

Like the winter, Sling caused a lingering sensation, feeling where the albums calls for it to be explored more and more. I would say the first thing that comes to mind when thinking of Sling is a crunchy, fallen leaf in the autumn.
