PARTYNEXTDOOR - $ome $exy $ongs 4 U

This guy's been recycling the same song for 10 years. His fans must have endless patience.

Wu-Tang Clan - A Better Tomorrow

The problem with this record is the RZA instead of doing his thing he strives to be another Adrian Younge, and the results are lukewarm

Black Rob - Life Story 2

I'm really surprised by how good this album is. I didn't expect it—cohesive, well-produced hip-hop reminiscent of his best moments from the late '90s and early 2000s.

Redman - Muddy Waters Too
72

Considering his last two albums, this one comes as quite a surprise—Redman has returned to his tried-and-true formula of crafting long albums filled with skits. I didn’t have high expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised—the album is very solid, and it’s clear that Redman put in the effort. In my opinion, though, its vibe is closer to Doc’s Da Name than Muddy Waters, so perhaps Doc’s Da Name 2 would have been a more fitting title, but that’s just a ... read more

"Próbuje dorobić do emerytury. Grunt, żeby zachować rozpoznawalność, bo dla niego to kilka kontraktów reklamowych"
On Iglooreviews's review of Mobb Deep - Infinite
"@Iglooreviews This album was meant to close the chapter of Mobb Deep and serve as a tribute to Prodigy in their signature style, not by breaking new ground. In fact, trying to do something new would’ve been a mistake, since there won’t be another album. They worked with what they had, and Havoc and Alchemist delivered brilliantly. I have absolutely no complaints about this record."
On Iglooreviews's review of Mobb Deep - Infinite
"The album was built around the verses Prodigy left. Maybe - just maybe - this could be some clue? What do you think?"
On Mobb Deep - Infinite
"@Difftypeofratin I didn’t think it would go this hard either. I knew the album was gonna be good, but I didn’t expect Havoc to kill it like that with the beats. By the way I was sure “Down for You Pt. 1” and “Pt. 2” would have the same beat! Great album."
On Westside Gunn - HEELS HAVE EYES 2
"@jimmyinfamous00 Well, you're lucky, because for me, no matter how hard I try, those ad-libs are just distracting from listening. If they were just in the background, it would be fine, but they often place them almost in the foreground, which is unbearable. I think the issue is that it creates too much contrast with the music—you have a calm, almost downtempo beat, and then suddenly it’s DOT DOT RaTaTaTa - Second world war."
On 2CLASSIFIED2's review of Ghostface Killah - Supreme Clientele 2
"Honestly, I love Ghostface — Supreme Clientele is in my top 5 ever — and that’s exactly why I think this album isn’t worth listening to. A disappointment."
On LegendsllLiveOn's review of Ghostface Killah - Supreme Clientele 2
"The Zoom isn’t some ‘combination of jazz rap & chipmunk soul’ – it’s just song Zoom by Commodores playing in the background. And it’s not even sampling – the track just runs in the background the whole time. As for the rest, I won’t even comment, because this album disappointed me more than any other."
On astrojmmm's review of Ghostface Killah - Rap Kingpin
"Here it's still somewhat bearable since it's just a lyrics video, but when I see Raekwon or Mathematics promoting their albums with AI-generated clips, that's straight-up cringe."

"No - Wu Tang did NOT release an album in 2025"
On object's review of Wu-Tang Clan - Black Samson, the Bastard Swordsman
"RZA has nothing to do with production on this album since it's a MATHEMATICS production album, not Wu Tang. There is one GZA verse and one GFK because it is NOT Wu Tang album!"

"You are right - they don't coming back in 2025 because it is not their group album"
On ThatWhiteGuy's review of Wu-Tang Clan - Black Samson, the Bastard Swordsman
"@ThatWhiteGuy True that. Besides, a Wu-Tang album with only one verse from GFK and GZA? No way. There are probably like 20+ albums branded as Wu-Tang. This one stands out in terms of quality, but it's still not a group album. Peace."
On ThatWhiteGuy's review of Wu-Tang Clan - Black Samson, the Bastard Swordsman
"This is Mathematics’s album. On Wu-Tang’s social media, there’s basically no promotion, apart from a mention that it’s “his album” — meaning Mathematics’s. They didn’t even get together to shoot a proper video; they just put out some AI-generated clip. The album is fine, and I’m glad it exists, but what annoys me is that people are mistaking it for a full-fledged Wu-Tang release."

On VallLikesMusic's review of Wu-Tang Clan - Black Samson, the Bastard Swordsman
"RZA has nothing to do with the production. This is a Mathematics album - with major appearance of Wu Tang members, but it's not a group official album"
On PaddyG's review of Wu-Tang Clan - Black Samson, the Bastard Swordsman
"This is the same type of project as Legendary Weapons, Chamber Music, The Saga Continues, etc. Of course, Wu-Tang members are an essential part of it, but it's not their official group album. Mathematics has a few other Wu-Tang affiliated albums and something else. Nevertheless, I'm glad it was released because it's good, and I don't think there will be a group album"
On PaddyG's review of Wu-Tang Clan - Black Samson, the Bastard Swordsman
"When you check Wu-Tang's social media, you'll see in the February posts that they're referring to it as "his album," meaning Mathematics's album. It's Mathematics's album featuring guest appearances from Wu-Tang members, and there are tons of albums like that, but they don't count as official group albums."

"It is not a Wu Tang album. It's Mathematics album ...."
On thelemonkiddeh's review of Wu-Tang Clan - Black Samson, the Bastard Swordsman
"There are probably 20+ albums under the Wu-Tang banner — Wu-Tang Killa Bees, Wu-Tang Meets Indie Culture, Wu-Tang this, Wu-Tang that. This one here is just another side project, but it stands out because of its quality. And it's good it dropped, because there probably won't be an official group album no more. On Instagram back in February, Wu said this was "his" album — meaning Mathematics’s. Besides, a Wu album with just one GZA verse and one GFK verse? No way."
On thelemonkiddeh's review of Wu-Tang Clan - Black Samson, the Bastard Swordsman
"This is not the Wu-Tang comeback album. It's the Mathematics album with Wu-Tang member's appearances. They even don't mention on their social media about this release"
