Dalek still keeping things fresh.
This record is gloomy, in your face, and gritty. The duo continues to put out compelling music and although these sounds are familiar the two keep it fresh with sharp lyricism and bold industrial sounds.

When people called indie rock emotionless dribble this is what they heard.
This album reminds me of that weak Tame Impala album last year. Honestly this record is so beige and has nothing vibrant to it, everything from the vocals, the instrumental, the production l just sounds like a band going through the motions. One of the best Singer-Songwriter albums this year.
I like the unique lo-fi quality of this record and the up front songwriting. Greg isn't trying to sell us on some lengthy pining for reason, instead Greg packs in the important aspects of songwriting in just under half an hour. Guitars, lo-fi rhodes keyboards, and minimal rhythms give the album its charm and I look forward to more music by Greg.

An honest yet flawed LP by Violet.
Violet has a lot of potential and maybe we'll be looking back and seeing this record as a good starting spot for her. I enjoyed more of the hard rock songs on this record as opposed to some of the slower cuts on this album. Violet has the voice and the vision and in time, I think she'll piece it together.

Among one of the bands best records.
Iceage is back to form on this new LP and the punk and indie sound is still there but this time with a jangle pop influence. The band does a great job with the production, performance, and songwriting.
