Great debut album from Kali with rich sounding r&b/soul production and beautiful vocals; many highlights like Miami, Just A Stranger, Dead To Me, Tomorrow and After The Storm… interludes are very nicely done and the spanish song is easily the weakest on the album
i’m so pleasantly surprised by this album and by this artist as i haven’t heard anything by her; incredibly produced album with many mind blowing production choices especially on Music, Hollywood Forever, Innuendo and Do It which are my favorites; took me two listens to fully digest her vocals not gonna lie but as more i’m listening this project the more i like it; maybe two more songs with this insane production that was going here and this probably could’ve been my aoty
great project from St. Vincent with so many highlights and overall impressive production work from Jack Antonoff; there are couple of tracks, ballads, that i can’t connect with and bring the score down when it could’ve been in top 2 with Daddy’s Home
solid as an project, great as a sequel to her previous album as this one has far better standouts; production is nothing impressive, synth-pop can be done greatly in few examples here and in some kinda tiring and “already heard”; Shyboy, Kamikaze, So Right are bangers and my favorite on this album while Aeroplanes, Shadow and Weekend Love are the weakest songs here
While it doesn’t do anything for me i still appreciate some gorgeous production elements in the Fable part
