I have to admit, I have never been into the kind of sound that Between the Buried and Me has delivered over the years. But I have noticed over the years that their albums had started to feel a little more accessible to my tastes but not really delivering anything to me that stuck with me or that I thought was truly interesting to listen to. After hearing the song The Coma Machine I decided to give this album a full listen, and Oh man did I not regret it. This album quickly became my most listened to album of 2015. This album is a departure from the Deathcore style that most people were used to and the change of sound was for the better (IMO). The album is a concept album/rock opera and all of the tracks flow together so well with various degrees of styles throughout the record and make for such a creative and interesting listening experience. Not only is this the best album of 2015 but its one the best albums I've listened to in quite a while. Give it a listen, you won't regret it.

Best Tracks: Turn on the Darkness, King Redeem/Queen Serene, Famine Wolf

Worst Track: Option Oblivion
