could i paint a picture for you, if you'd be so kind?
i say, my hand freezing before i could. i stare at the blank canvas like a deer in headlights, thoughts rushing in my head that can't seem to find an exit, my mind unable to focus on anything that surrounds me, anything that's real.
except for one thing, of course, the noise. the only sound i can hear in this room. a constant, insistent ticking that reverberates through the walls, through the air, through me. i haven't ... read more

this song is doing A LOT production wise, but it definitely ties it all up well by the end, even tho there are times where it's on the verge of being a mess.
they're definitely going the ambitious route on this one, which is why i'm VERY excited to see what they're going for next. they might actually be able to make their trench 2... i'm still not getting my hopes too up, since that's a hell of an album to top, but at least they seem to be up for the task!

album to blow ur nuts off
genuinely insane noise-rock record. the vocalist kinda reminds me of the Refused vocalist, which is great, and they manage to incorporate a fair share of different style throughout the album, making it feel fresh all the way through!!!! this fucking rules!!!!! Aaaaa!!!!!
Highlights: God gutt, Amor fati, Heute ist mein tag, Festen som aldri stopper, King Spud
been getting into abstract hip-hop as of late, and this album managed to stand out to me quite a bit
the beats are hauntingly beautiful, moor mother and billy both do a great job lyrics and flow wise (even if slightly stilted at times), and even after like, 5 listens? it still feels like there’s more to unpack from this record that i haven’t noticed. great stuff!
Highlights: The Blues Remembers Everything the Country Forgot, Rapunzal, Scary Hours, Gang for a Day
