SALEM - Red Dragon

Way more interesting than Fires in Heaven

Burial - Dreamfear / Boy Sent From Above

Wow, easily his best since Rival Dealer.

Wolves in the Throne Room - Crypt of Ancestral Knowledge

The synth/keys are a little too high in the mix for my liking. But overall a solid project.

Domo Genesis & The Alchemist - No Idols
NR

Why did this need a separate release page? I thought nothing had changed but the cover art? It being on Spotify doesn't mean it's no longer a mixtape.

An impressive debut with some really incredible sonic choices. Kind of reminds me of the singer of The Antlers if he was fronting HEALTH.

Faetooth - Remnants of the Vessel

Pretty cool Chelsea Wolfe worship that lays down a great foundation. I'm really excited to see where they go from here. This album really sticks to it's sludgy sound without doing much else. I hope to see them explore their sound more on future releases.

Dream Unending - Song of Salvation

A really creative band that is doing something genuinely fresh sounding, at least to me. But their super clean and melodic sound paired with death metal vocals feels too mismatched for me. I don't think clean vocals would be a better move either. I think this is a band still developing their sound and a group I'll keep an eye on in hopes that their building up to something truly great.

BROCKHAMPTON - Big Pussy

BH about to drop their Some Rap Songs???

Conjurer - Páthos

A really creative and heavy band is ruined by corny, multi-tracked deathcore vocals.

Botch - One Twenty Two
87

20 years of imitation and still no one does it better

Through the Eyes of the Dead - The Scars of Ages
89

The only deathcore release I'll still listen to
