This album was pretty good! I had never heard of this band before, so I was very curious going in. I did see some talk about Nirvana influence, and I for sure see that now after listening to the album, especially on the track Fine And Good. Anyways, I thought this was a pretty strong album! All the tracks (besides one, we will get to that) hit hard and honestly I knew the sound I would get from this just looking at the album art. However, The shorter tracks that were clocked in at under 2 ... read more
This album is so fucking good dude. I can't help but glaze the hell out of this album because O Rod is my favorite artist to blow up in the 2020's (other than Yeat) so I'm always going to hype this album up...and it legitimately deserves! I appreciate how she made sure this album wasn't just SOUR 2. While there are def songs that can fit on SOUR, I do not feel that any are leftovers from sessions for SOUR. This album showed artistic growth, even just being 2 years removed ... read more
This album always interested me when looking at Jay's discog because it always reminded me of a movie poster or video game box art, so it always had my curiosity peaked. Maybe it's because it reminds me of Hitman? Anyways, I thought this album was pretty good! I did enjoy all of the tracks, the only one I didn't being Party Life. Just simply did not feel as strong as the rest of the album. I even enjoyed Hello Brooklyn 2.0, which apparently is the lowest rated track on the album ... read more
Just a pure 2000s sounding album. I knew exactly the sound that would come from this, and I still really enjoyed it. Liked every track, but I'd say my least fav was I Get High. Both Warriors, Playboi, Karma, Work Magic, If You So Gangsta, When The Chips Are Down are some highlights from me. Great album,
Yeah, I see why this album has the reputation it does now. Wow wow wow wow. What phenomenal music, and a lot of classic songs on here too. Frank, I have found in this run, is one of those artists where I go "oh yeah, I do know this one!" a lot. Nikes, Ivy, Pink + White, Solo (and the awesome reprise with 3 Stacks), Self Control (probably my favorite on the album), and White Ferrari are just SOME of the standout moments on here. Honestly, I see why Frank has not dropped in nearly a ... read more
Back from a short hiatus, wasn't feeling too great last week so I took the time to rest and feel better. All recovered now, and we are back with Endless. This was still a great album, but not as great as nostalgia,ULTRA and channel ORANGE. Don't get me wrong, still plenty of highlights such as the production, the appearances from Jazmine Sullivan, and songs such as At Your Best (You Are Love), U-N-I-T-Y, Wither, and Rushes, but this album did not hit for me like the previous two. Will ... read more
This is easily some of the best music I have ever heard. I really enjoyed every track here, but Pilot Jones, while I still enjoyed it, it did not hit like the other tracks on the album. That is the only negative I have here, everything was so great. Frank's vocals are insane throughout and the production was wonderful. It kept me engaged throughout the entire album because I did not want to miss anything. Earl and 3 Stacks killed their verses, and I loved the instrumental track with John ... read more
Wow, what a debut mixtape from Frank. Awesome singing and production throughout, and that Hotel California remix "american wedding"...holy shit how have I never listened to that before? For sure going to be in my rotation for the rest of the year, I can already tell. Very excited to dig into the rest of his discography after this tape.
Was nice hearing a new Joey album! Didn't hit like some others in his discography, sure, but it was still good!
Beautiful voice and singing throughout! Very interesting listen but I enjoyed
Nice collection of songs that would be nice to put on in the background, just not sure how often I’ll return to them
My first Aesop Rock album! I quite enjoyed it, the technicality of his lyrics plus the production was awesome! Cant wait to dive more into his discog.
A collection of songs that wouldn’t be bad to hear on the radio but THIRTY SEVEN of them back to back just feels redundant. Morgan is capable of a good album, it’s just a matter of CUTTING BACK
Awesome album with awesome vocals and awesome production. Catchy tracks all around!
I’ll be honest, this is my first album from Mac, that being said…this was a great first impression! Very solid release for it to be a second posthumous release, you can tell that this album was (pretty much) complete and just sitting in the vault when he passed. Some songs feel like they drag a little long, but that’s my only real note and I’m nitpicking. R.I.P. MAC!
Happy to have enjoyed this album! I had heard a few snippets of PARTYOF2’s music prior to this and was excited to check this album out. I can safely say that it delivered and was a solid album. Much different than I expected, but that’s not a bad thing! There is a lot of potential here and I cannot wait to see SWIM and Jadagrace grow as a duo and as artists
With Cardi B's sophomore album, the songs here were pretty back and forth in quality. Seriously, the first 8 songs on the album rotate between like, not like, like, not like in that pattern for me. There is a pretty damn good album in here if the filler is removed, and took out some of the tracks that are sort of samey. The tracks on here that I liked though, I really enjoyed. Imaginary Playerz is a fucking banger, and I can see me returning to that song often. WAP still a banger 5 years ... read more
