Finally! My affinity for this band has been vindicated by an actually good album!

I mean...issa classic. The songs are much more improved along with the lyrics and delivery of said lyrics. It contains some of my favorite songs of all time. I can get if you don't like it, but it's a definite improvement.

Best: Chlorine (<3), My Blood, Levitate, Morph, Nico and the Niners, Cut My Lip
Least: Smithereens

Am I allowed to be nostalgic over this? Because it's going to happen regardless. Yeah, some of it is rather generic despite their claims of "this song will never be on the radio." Yeah, some of the lyrics are cringeworthy. Yeah, some of it just isn't that good.

But goddamn it, I have such a soft spot for this album. At least key parts of it.

Least: Fairly Local, Polarize, Not Today

Nostalgia's a bitch sometimes. I can't listen to this normally but I also can't bring myself to hate it! That counts for something

Best: Ode to Sleep, Holding onto You, Car Radio, Guns for Hands, Trees
Least: Run and Go

I don't hate it. Most of it isn't really good...especially the early Vessel songs. I just cannot physically bring myself to hate any this album. Some of the songs are definitely awkward, I won't lie

Best: Slowtown, Kitchen Sink, Anathema, Forest
Least: Every song that got on Vessel, Clear, Lovely

I actually love this album, and I did listen to it a lot from 2015-2017. Some of them are kinda whatever, but man...I can't hate it.

I do like the different direction for MCR, but it's just kind of...okay. Another loose concept album, of course. Some of the songs are good but some of them just don't really...do much for me.

Best: Na Na Na, Party Poison, DESTROYA, Vampire Money
Least: The Only Hope, Summertime, Kids from Yesterday, EVERY FILLER TRACK

Another MCR concept album with a full focus in both story and music. As others have said, it's the most cohesive. That being said, I can only listen to the songs when I do a full listening to the album, as some songs work best together. That's not a bad thing.

Best: Sharpest Lives, Welcome, House of Wolves, Mama, Sleep
Least Favorite: Disenchanted

MCR continues another concept album with a full focus in the music. Definitely my favorite.

Least Favorite: Give Em Hell, Prison
