Adele - 25
80

One of the most important white people in the world right now. Some legitimately timeless songs on this album. Better than 21 in my opinion.

JayDon - Me My Songs & I
79

Why aren't more people talking about JayDon this album is really good. Please tune in everybody if you haven't already. His voice is really good and there's a lot of variety on this album with some great sounds. My personal favorites are Caviar, The Way You Move, and I'll Be Good.

Steve Lacy - Apollo XXI
76

Fun artistic project by Steve Lacy. It was a really nice, cohesive project with a unique sound. I can't say I'll revisit a good chunk of it as standalone songs, but my personal favorites are Only If, Hate CD, and N Side. Very fun listen.

GIVĒON - Give or Take
75

Giveon is comfortable with his sound compared to his first album; he doesn't stray far from his typical sound. He's such a talented vocalist. This is a great, consistent record by Giveon with really no skips and some BANGERS. Favorites are Unholy Matrimony, For Tonight, Another Heartbreak, and Let Me Go.

Kanye West - 808s & Heartbreak
75

This album paved the way for so many artists to be able to make it doing what they do. I will ALWAYS give it flowers for that. That being said, as a standalone project, I'd be lying if I said I go back to all these tracks, but it's a GREAT listen. Nobody's better at pushing the boundaries of music than Kanye West.

Daniel Caesar - Son Of Spergy
73

I wasn't that impressed with this album on first listen, but then I listened to it again a while later and was much more taken aback by Daniel Caesar's talent. It's not his best work by any means, but it has some timeless tracks. Songs like Who Knows, Emily's Song, and Moon with Bon Iver are beautiful.

Sabrina Claudio - About Time
73

Sabrina's voice is beautiful, this is a really fun, ethereal, and dreamy album that in my opinion has no skips, had me floating.

Bryant Barnes - VANITY
73

Bryant Barnes is next up I highly recommend yall tune in if you haven't yet. We can't listen to d4vd anymore so we have this guy to save the day. Shiloh Dynasty vibes.

Daniel Caesar - Freudian
75

Daniel is one of the most compelling and heartfelt vocalists and love song writers of the modern era. Freudian is easily worth the listen. Favorite tracks are Get You, Best Part, Loose, and Blessed. GENERATIONAL TRACKS.

Brent Faiyaz - Sonder Son
71

Nice, soothing, quality singing but at the same time not the most captivating of listens. Still worth tuning into imo. Favorite songs were Talk 2 U, LA, and So Far Gone.

Bruno Mars - The Romantic
69

Yearners are Earners

Bruno Mars - Unorthodox Jukebox
75

Bruno in his kinky gorilla era, The highs of this album are some of Bruno's best work across all projects. Although the forgettable tracks are REALLY forgettable. But this album I will still always go back to because When I Was Your Man, Locked Out Of Heaven, Treasure, and If I Knew are songs that should be remembered forever.

Miguel - All I Want Is You
62

Outside of the first two standout tracks here the rest of the album is relatively dull to me. Lack of replay value for me but nothing inherently bad. Sure Thing and All I Want Is You are certified hood classic tho.

The Weeknd - House Of Balloons (Original)
51

Maybe there's something I'm missing here why do people love this record so much? I understand it's impact on RNB but I think it's massively overrated as a standalone project

Jack Harlow - Monica
50

The best part of this record was ironically Move Along when someone besides Jackman Harlow was singing ngl, I see the vision, but I'm simply not coming back to most of this. More of a snooze than anything, but cool trying something new, Jack.

SZA - Z
68

Like a high 6 out of 10. SZA’s first studio album has a nice abstract dreamy feel to it which for me can actually hit for very specific vibes but I find myself unlikely to revisit often since it’s not necessarily some of the better music I’ve heard of this kind of vibe. But that doesn’t mean it’s bad I enjoyed it . Plus we got a dope Kendrick feature. Favorite songs were Julia, Babylon, and Green Mile.

Drake - Take Care
86

Prime Drake will never be forgotten; the blend of his RNB and Hip Hop skills shows out more on this album then probably any of his other ones. The most memorable Drake record to date. Multiple 10/10 songs.

Baby Keem - Ca$ino
82

It's an extremely fun album that honestly exceeded my expectations by a lot. I was a bit of a Baby Keem hater for a little bit because as good as THe Melodic Blue was, him waiting that long to drop again kinda got me tight. But now that he finally arrived he did not disappoint. oh and btw Dramatic Girl is my 2026 anthem it's so catchy. The different kinds of production and rapping Baby Keem exhibited on this record makes it truly a remarkable listen, would very much recommend. ... read more
